MADRID, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona assistant coach Jordi Roura expressed his satisfaction after yet another dominant display from his side in the Camp Nou.

Barca celebrated with first midday kick off in over 40 years with a 6-1 thrashing of Getafe in front of their third biggest gate of the season and in a game that was broadcast in primetime in China and Asia.

Alexis Sanchez, Leo Messi, David Villa, Christian Tello, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique scored for Barca to help contribute to a party atmosphere in the Camp Nou and take them one game closer to the title.

"I want to thank the fans, we have to highlight what they have done, because it was a great party at an unusual kickoff time," said Roura.

"We had the chance for lots of children to come to the ground and it was a nice day," he added, pleased that his side had hit the ground with a win after most of their players had been away on midweek international duty.

"We could have had problems after that, but the players have been physically in good shape," he said.

Roura also had words for Alexis Sanchez who opened the scoring with his first league goal of the season.

"We are all happy for him. We are pleased with his hard work, his attitude and he is very popular in the squad. He has been out of luck recently, but he scored a good goal to open the scoring and it will give him confidence.

Roura, who is in charge of the team while Tito Vilanova is receiving cancer treatment in the United States, also praised Iniesta and Alex Song, who had a solid game in midfield, finally he assured that his decision to replace Carles Puyol during the game was merely a precaution.
