HOUSTON, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- The Houston Rockets beat Portland Trail Blazers 118-103 Friday night in the Rockets' final home game before the All Stars take place in Toyota Center.
James Harden poured in 35 points for the Rockets. Harden was chosen as a reserve for the West squad, making his first All-Star team.
LaMarcus Aldridge, another All-Star reserve for the West, was nearly as phenomenal as Harden, scoring 31 points for Portland.
Chandler Parsons scored 20 points for the Rockets. Jeremy Lin and Patrick Patterson added 16 points apiece.
Nicolas Batum scored 24 points and Damian Lillard had 18 for the Trail Blazers.
