YONGCHUAN, Chongqing, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Norway drew with Canada 0-0 to win the 2013 Women's Soccer Four-nation Invitation Tournament here on Wednesday.
Norway beat South Korea 2-0 and China 1-0 in the first two rounds. In the third round, world No. 12 Norway had an upper hand over Canada, ranked seventh in the world.
In the 19th minute, Canada had a superb chance when Christabel Oduro beat past Norway's defenders to make a shot on target but failed to slot in.
In the rest of the match, Norway took full control. In the 58th minute, Isabell Herlovsen hit the crossbar. Three minutes later, Kristine Hegland made a volley shot wide. In the 84th minute, Herlovsen hit a header right above the crossbar.
With two wins and one draw, Norway won the tournament, Canada in second place with one win, one draw and one loss, China and South Korea in third and fourth place both with one win and two losses.
