TEHRAN, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- China snatched a 1-1 draw against Uzbekistan in the Group D match of the AFC U-16 2012 championship here on Tuesday.
China came from behind to salvage a point against its rival after India held Syria 0-0 in another Group D match earlier.
After two rounds of games, Uzbekistan tops the group with four points while China and Syria both have two points.
On Tuesday, South Korea beat Japan 3-1 and Saudi Arabia lost to DPR Korea 2-1 in the Group C matches.
