RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Former Portugal star Deco is set to return from more than six weeks on the sidelines when Fluminense take on Nautico in Brazil's Serie A championship on Saturday.
The 35-year-old has not played since injuring his left thigh in Fluminense's 2-0 victory over Coritiba on August 5.
He resumed training last week and is poised to return to the starting line-up alongside defender Anderson and forward Marcos Junior.
"We have some great players coming back and that will make us even stronger as we approach the end of the season," said Deco's teammate and former Brazil striker Fred.
"Now we just have to hope that they can stay fit until the last match because they are very important for us."
Fluminense currently lead the league standings, two points ahead of Ronaldinho's Atletico Mineiro, who have a game in hand.
