ALMATY, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese women's volleyball players pushed aside the Japan team in straight sets on Monday as they aimed at a third title at the 3rd Asian Cup volleyball event here.
China dominated the match and gave no real chance to their opponents in their 25-18, 25-17 and 25-19 win.
Xu Yunli and Zeng Chunlei's offensive moves caused some big troubles to the Japanese defensive play. And Hui Ruoqi put together a 15-point offensive performance.
The Asian volleyball event was slated on Sept. 10 to 16 with eight teams pitted into two groups.
