HANOI, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- China defeated India 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-17, 25-17) on the third day of the 3rd Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Cup for Men in Vietnam's northern Vinh Phuc Province on Monday.
China kept their lead during the opening set and got the first set victory at 25-17.
Entering the second set, China lost focus and let the rival take the set with 25-23.
However, China found their form back and finished the third and fourth set with identical scores of 25-17.
China recorded two victories and one loss after three matches of the competition.
The 3rd AVC Cup for Men is being held from September 1-7 in Vietnam's Vinh Phuc Province, some 40 km north of capital Hanoi, with the participation of eight teams in two groups.
Group A includes Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and Myanmar. Group B brackets China, Australia, India and Iran.
