YINCHUAN, Sept. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- 2015 China-Arab States Expo, the national comprehensive expo with active international participation, opened on Thursday in Yinchuan, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
Since 2010, four sessions, including that organized by its predecessor the China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum,have been held by the expo, producing far-reaching influence internationally and domestically.
The previous sessions attracted participation of countries along the “Belt and Road”region and became an important platform to promote and implement pragmatic cooperation between China and the Arab countries.
For the past few years, as a key platform to promote China’s international relationship, the expo has received 24 Chinese and foreign dignitaries, 253 Chinese and foreign ministerial officials, and104 foreign diplomatic envoys.
The theme for this year is: “Uphold Silk Road Spirit, Deepen China-Arab States Cooperation” for “Friendship, Cooperation, Development”. During the expo, there will be forums on ecological construction and experience exchange on various topics.
Under the “1+6+4” framework, high-end forums, professional exhibitions and matchmaking meetings will be held as well.
Guests from home and broad will also be invited to inspect natural reserves of lake and wetland, prevention and control of desertification, and wine industry in Yinchuan.
The Expo 2015 is held from September 10 to 13, 2015.
