In April 2013
SMU signed a MOU with Fudan University on a Joint Research Centre on Development Studies.
8 professors from Tsinghua University and SMU held a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Workshop at SMU.
SMU and the Pudong Innovation Research Institute (PIRI) signed an agreement to embark on a joint research program aimed at developing a comprehensive user satisfaction measure for services offered in Shanghai’s Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park.
In June 2013
SMU signed a Doctoral Student Exchange program with Tsinghua University and welcomed the first Tsinghua PhD Student in SMU.
In July 2013
SMU organized a Joint Finance Camp with Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SHUFE) where more than 100 finance faculties and PhD students from SMU, SHUFE, China Europe International Business School, Fudan University, and leading Chinese universities attended the event. SMU is finalizing a Joint Research Project with Shanghai Jiao Tong University on the global opinion studies on China.
Undergraduate
In April 2013
SMU has signed new student exchange MOUs with top Chinese universities including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
In July 2013
SMU hosted a team of 67 staff & and students from Zhejiang University (ZJU). ZJU is keen to partner SMU in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Postgraduate
Since 2007
SMU has worked with Xiamen University on a Master of Science in Applied Finance (China program).
In June 2013
SMU has already signed a Double-Masters agreement with Peking University (PKU) the first batch of 28 students will graduate with a PKU Master degree and a SMU Master of IT in Business (MITB).
On-going
SMU has worked with Xiamen University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and SWUFE on its Master of Science in Financial Economics (MSFE) program
SMU is finaliszing with Tsinghua University on a double Master degree partnership in Master of Science in CFO Leadership program (MCFO).
