Chopsticks & Beyond winner gets her just desserts
To celebrate its 15th anniversary, CRIENGLISH.com, the official English-language Website of China Radio International, launched a special program: Chopsticks & Beyond, inviting foreign cooking enthusiasts to join their Chinese cooking competition.
Starting in June, 2013 each month the competition will focus on one of China's four great culinary traditions - Sichuan Cuisine, Cantonese Cuisine, Shandong Cuisine or Huaiyang Cuisine.
Professional chefs will give guidance to the contestants. Judges will be popular food microbloggers and professionals from the World Association of Chinese Cuisine (WACC).
The winning dish needs a dash pizzazz, either in its ingredients, inspiration or display. An influence from your home country is recommended. There will be prizes for each month's winner.
