BEIJING, Feb. 19 (Xinhuanet) – The industrial added value of state-owned and large non-state enterprises in the city of Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, reached 43 billion yuan (US$ 6.9 billion) in 2012, according to newly released statistics. The proportion of the overall industrial sector in the city’s GDP reached 38.7 percent. The industrial leading role in boosting the city’s economic growth is greatly strengthened.
Until the end of 2012, the number of state-owned and large non-state industrial enterprises in Yinchuan amounted to 310 and there are 1,341 small and micro- industrial enterprises in the city. A total of 230 industrial projects with investment crossing the 10 million yuan mark started construction in Yinchuan last year. The investment value for industrial projects amounted to 47.5 billion yuan, up by 20 percent year-on-year.
