BEIJING, Jan. 15 (Xinhuanet) – The annual growth rates for all enterprises' major economic indicators in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region’s industrial parks surpassed 30 percent in 2012. These enterprises greatly promoted the sustained and rapid development of the region’s industrial economy.
The number of regional state-level industrial parks increased from 1 in 2007 to 5 in 2012. The Ningdong Energetic Chemical Base is now the largest coal chemical base in China and the second-largest one in the world. Yinchuan Economic and Technical Development Zone has become nationally-renowned for numerical control machines, tires, wind power generation equipment manufacturing and software animation production. The Lingwu Cashmere Industrial Park has integrated technical application and research, product development, promotion, check, analysis and trade integration together into one base.
In addition, bio-fermentation and medicine at the Yongning Industrial Park, food processing and furniture production at the Helan Industrial Park and new material and equipment manufacturing at the Shizuishan Economic and Technical Development Zone have all grown into competitive industries.
