BEIJING, Jan. 8 (Xinhuanet) – A total of 2.3-billion-yuan (US$ 369 million) in investment capital will flow into Xiji County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, according to contract signing ceremony for its key projects on December 26.
Xiji County boasts of a long history and abundant cultural tourism resources. Currently, it is an agricultural county, yielding high-quality potatoes and celery. Statistics show that the county’s GDP is expected to reach some 3.25 billion yuan in 2012. The urban per capita disposable income and rural per capita net income are estimated to reach 15380 yuan and 4580 yuan respectively this year.
The actual inflow of investment capital into the county has so far already surpassed 1.1 billion yuan this year and the ten key projects cover Halal food processing, automobile business, logistics and other sectors.
