BEIJING, August 29 (Xinhuanet) – The Yinchuan Municipal Government will invest 200 million yuan (US$ 31 million) to construct the largest Science and Technology Park in northwest China. The park will feature an abundance of innovations, high-caliber talents and a premium service center, according to the spokesman for the Yinchuan Science and Technology Bureau.
“We have signed plans of establishing a consultation and service center on collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Science and the Chinese Academy of Engineering to ensure that graduates will have the chance to display their abilities there in the future,” the spokesman added.
The park is set to take up an area of 347 hectares, including a talent mansion, a research and development center and apartments. Shenhua Ningxia Coal Group, Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group and four other large-scale corporations have so far signed contracts to set up workshops in the park.
