The project of building ring road of Lhasa pushes forward smoothly, and with the finished main framework, the road gets ready for trial operation, according to a report released by Tibet.cn on Jan.4, 2016. As Lhasa has an average altitude of 3,600 meters, the ring road has been dubbed "China's highest ring road", which is expected to improve traffic and accelerate the city's development.
