NORTH PACIFIC OCEAN-CHINA-XUELONG-EXPEDITION

ABOARD XUELONG, July 18, 2016 (Xinhua) -- Researchers check a buoy to be launched on the Chinese icebreaker Xuelong, or Snow Dragon, as the research vessel arrives at the sea area of the North Pacific Ocean, the first station on its expedition, July 18, 2016. Xuelong left east China's Shanghai on July 11 for the Arctic, the country's seventh expedition to the polar region. (Xinhua/Wu Yue)
