TAXKORGAN, June 5, 2016 (Xinhua) -- Frontier guards and one of their Pakistani counterpart drink tea at Khunjerab frontier inspection station in Tajik Autonomous County of Taxkorgan, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, June 5, 2016. Located 5,100 meters above sea level with the oxygen content of merely 48 percent as it is at plain area, Khunjerab frontier inspection station guards China's only land border with Pakistan. Since its foundation in 1982, the barracks of the front class here have been reconstructed or renovated for five times while efforts have been made constantly to better the living condition for the frontier guards.
