GUATEMALA CITY, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- The death toll from a landslide that hit a Guatemalan village on Thursday evening has risen to 48, while 350 people were missing, Guatemala's National Disaster Mitigation Coordination said on Saturday.

"Only 20 victims have been identified while the other 28 are not recognized yet," said Julia Barrera, spokesman for the country's Public Ministry. Full story
