RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- Under record-high temperatures, the Rock in Rio music festival kicked off its fifteenth edition on Friday to celebrate the event's 30th anniversary.

Organizers estimate an audience of 85,000 people per day. Concerts will also be broadcast live on the festival's official website. Full story
