UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- UN General Assembly on Tuesday opened its 70th session, during which the much-anticipated Post-2015 Development Agenda is expected to be adopted at an upcoming summit from Sept. 25-27.

"It is a great honor for me to open the 70th session," said Mogens Lykketoft, president of this session. "The session, I hope, will be truly historical." Full story
