PORT OF SPAIN, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Trinidad and Tobago's People's National Movement (PNM) leader Keith Rowley was sworn in Wednesday as the country's new prime minister by President Anthony Carmona in a ceremony held here.
Rowley and his PNM defeated Kamla Persad-Bissessar of the People's Partnership during the general election on Monday, winning 23 seats in the 41-seat parliament. Full story
