Approximately 6,000 students are moving in to University of British Columbia (UBC) residence rooms over the coming days to begin their new lives as university students. The Vancouver campus has 9766 beds for students. As the recent growth demand is still far greater than supply, this year's waiting list has 6,300 applicants which set a record high even the campus residence monthly fee at 780 Canadian dollars in average.
