The emblematic Festival of the Flowers of Medellin ended on Sunday with a colorful silleteros' parade with the participation of more than 500 silleteros from the Colombian Municipality of Santa Elena. The silleteros' parade, which features farmers carrying on their backs landscapes, portraits or messages with indigenous values made with flowers, was included recently by the Colombian Culture Ministry in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation.
