WASHINGTON, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Nicks was defeated by the Wizards 91-102 on Christmas day Thursday and swallowed its history-high eighth straight loss.

John Wall led the Wizards with 24 points and 11 assists. Bradley Beal added 17 points and five assists. Washington scored 34 points in the first quarter, New York had to run after them from beginning to the end.

Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points for the Nicks, but New York was strong in will but weak in power. When Quincy Acy was dismissed in the fourth quarter, the suspense of the game was terminated.

The Nicks are 5-26 and in the second from the bottom all over the NBA.
