China, France pledge to boost relations
MONTREUX, Switzerland, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi Wednesday met his French counterpart, Laurent Fabius, with both sides vowing to continue to push forward bilateral ties.
Relations between China and France are currently at an important stage, Wang said during the meeting on the sidelines of a UN-backed international conference on theSyrian crisis in the Swiss lakeside city of Montreux. Full story
China, France celebrate half-century of diplomatic ties
BEIJING, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- China and France will celebrate the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties with a number of events, senior diplomats said here Friday.
