BEIJING, Dec. 16 (Xinhuanet) -- Thai anti-government protesters are continuing to camp out near the Government House in Bangkok, despite several rounds of talks to end the political crisis.
Protest leader Suthep Thuagsuban met with military chiefs at an armed forces seminar in Bangkok on Saturday. Anti-government protesters outlined their aims at the seminar, but military leaders declined to take sides or say if a February election should take place.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has held a forum with representatives from the political, business and law sectors. But neither protest leader Thaugsuban, the opposition Democrat Party nor herself took part. Talks held by the government and non-governmental organizations have failed to reach a solution so far.
