13 killed in drug-related violence in northern Mexico
MEXICO CITY, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Thirteen people were killed Sunday in drug-related violence in the northeastern Mexican city of Matamoros, local authorities said Monday.
Eight men died in two separate shootouts between gunmen and troops on Sunday afternoon, while another four men and one woman were killed earlier in the day in a clash between unidentified armed groups, said the Tamaulipas state government. Full story
