ISTANBUL, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- The Syrian National Coalition (SNC) , main umbrella opposition group based in Istanbul, said here on Saturday that it is waiting for UN invitation to the Geneva conference, which aims to end the 31-month conflict in Syria.
The statement was made by SNC spokesman Khalid Saleh at a press conference while more than 100 key opposition group members gathered at its general meeting in Istanbul. Full story
