JERUSALEM, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli military is on high alert amid a possible U.S. strike on Syria, which may result in a Syrian missiles attack against Israel.
A military source on Wednesday confirmed to Xinhua unauthorized reports in the Israeli and Arab media, according to which Patriot anti-aircraft batteries were deployed in the northern city of Haifa and other spots in northern Israel, as well as in central Israel. Full story
