Tripartite meeting on Syria ends without concrete outcome
GENEVA, June 25 (Xinhua) -- The meeting of officials of the United Nations, Russia and the United States on preparation work for the Geneva Conference on Syria concluded Tuesday without producing concrete results.
"The discussions were constructive, and focused on ways to ensure that the Geneva Conference on Syria can take place with the best chances of success," said a statement issued by the UN after the closed-door meeting. Full story
