CAIRO, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Egypt's security forces and presidential guards on Monday dispersed hundreds of anti- government demonstrators outside the presidential palace, where the demonstrators protested against President Mohamed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood group on the second anniversary of the fall of former President Hosni Mubarak.
Eyewitnesses told Xinhua that a number of protesters hurled Molotov cocktails at the palace and attempted to break down its gate when presidential guards replied with water canons and later with a massive number of tear gas bombs to disperse the protesters. Full story
