BERLIN, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- A UN emplyee infected with Ebola in West Africa and arrived in Germany last week for treatment has died in German city Leipzig, German media Focus reported on Tuesday.
The 56-year-old UN employee died in the early hours of Tuesday, Focus reported, citing the Hospital St. Georg in Leipzig.
The patient was brought to Germany for treatment on Thursday after he had been infected with the virus in Liberia, according to reports.
