BEIJING, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted 22 km southeast of Kurush, Russia at 0138 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 41.33 km, was initially determined to be at 41.2192 degrees north latitude and 48.0929 degrees east longitude.
