BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- A baby girl, thought to be less than one month old, has been found abandoned in a cardboard box left outside a house in Northamptonshire, UK.
Police said the girl was found in Ibsen Walk, Corby, on Tuesday morning, wrapped in a blue blanket wearing just a nappy.
The baby girl appeared to be in good health and was now being cared for at Kettering General Hospital.
Police officers said they urgently need to trace the baby's mother and have appealed for her to come forward amid concern for her welfare.
