TIRANA, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- The new Bilateral Protocol of Cooperation for Development 2014-2016 was signed by Albanian Deputy Prime Minister Niko Peleshi and Italian Ambassador Massimo Gaiani here on Thursday.
Portfolio of programmed aid to Albania for the next three-years is expected to be 81.7 million euros (about 101 million U.S. dollars).
According to Albanian Daily News, common vision of Italian cooperation projects in Albania, in the agreement and in accordance with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania is that of an "integrated, intelligent, sustainable, inclusive, well-governed development as central element to have prosperity and welfare in a European Albania."
