BEIJING, Oct. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- The company that runs Jimi Hendrix's estate wants the U.S. legendary guitarist's guitar back, which is valued more than 750,000 U.S. dollars.
The company is suing Harvey Moltz, a Tucson man, shop owner of Rainbow Guitars, for Black Widow acoustic guitar once owned by Jimi Hendrix.
The company attorney demands a Pima County Superior Court judge to order the guitar returned, as the attorney is quoted as saying Harvey Moltz, is "not the rightful owner".
Harvey Moltz said he purchased the guitar in June 2014 from someone who bought it from Sheldon Reynolds, ex-husband of Hendrix's adopted sister, Janie Hendrix.
However, the attorney said Sheldon Reynolds stole it.
