BEIJING, Sept. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Days after Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown's autopsy findings were sealed by the Fulton County Superior Court, a lawyer for Brown's father issued a new statement addressing allegations against Kristina's boyfriend, Nick Gordon.
Bobbi Kristina, 22, died on July 26, six months after she was found unresponsive in a bath in her Atlanta flat.
Bobbi Kristina was the only child of singer Whitney Houston and her father was R&B singer Bobby Brown. She was buried in August at the Fairview cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, next to her mother. Houston drowned in a bath in 2012. She died at a Los Angeles hotel on the eve of the Grammy Awards ceremony.
"In regards to the civil litigation, we believe we know who harmed Bobbi Kristina Brown and his name is Nick Gordon," lawyer Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC said in a statement.
"Mr. Gordon made headlines when he filed his Motion to Dismiss the lawsuit pending in Superior Court that seeks to hold him responsible for 40 million dollars in damages, " the lawyer continued.
Gordon will now have to give his deposition under oath, he urged.
