HANOI, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- The first International Festival of Theater Schools for Asia-Pacific will take place in Vietnam's southern Ho Chi Minh City from Sept. 5 to 10, local media reported Thursday.
The event is expected to attract some 120 guests and students from 15 drama theaters in 10 countries and regions including Australia, China, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, China's Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines.
Ten prominent works will be chosen to perform on stage along with a series of activities including performing skills exchange, stage training and practicing workshop.
