BEIJING, Sept. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- Lindsay Lohan was treated and released after being rushed to a New York City emergency room Sunday night following an asthma attack, according to media report on Tuesday.
"Lindsay was treated and released, and is doing fine," her rep Steve Honig was cited as saying, adding that she was treated for asthma.
Lohan has been telling friends for weeks that she's suffering from "walking pneumonia," and when things got especially bad over the weekend, she was rushed to New York's Mount Sinai Hospital.
Lohan also made headlines just last week when she was reportedly charged with a hit-and-run for allegedly striking 34-year-old restaurant cook Jose Rodriguez with her Porsche.
Calling the furor over the actress' hit-and-run "much ado about nothing", Lohan's publicist said the accident was still being investigated and he believed Lohan would eventually be found innocent.
