ALMATY, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- The opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "On the Wings of Culture - a retrospective look at the cultural renaissance of China" was held at the Central State Museum in Almaty on Monday.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Consulate General of China and the Confucius Institute in Almaty.
The exhibition features photos provided by Xinhua News Agency, the Ministry of Culture of China, the press center of Chengdu city, Sichuan Province and the Confucius Institute in Indianapolis, USA.
The photographs showcase the development of culture in China over the past 10 years, taking visitors to public libraries, museum and theater events.
