MEXICO CITY, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- China's Shanghai Peking Opera Troupe on Tuesday presented an opera adapted from William Shakespeare's "Hamlet" in central Mexico's Guanajuato city.
The troupe, which visited Mexico for the first time, performed "The Vengeance of Prince Zi Dan" at the 40th International Cervantino Festival.
The Chinese actors presented the adaptation of the English classic in a less tragic way, and showed acrobatics and martial arts in the performance, which has attracted the audience in Guanajuato.
