BEIJING, Oct. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- China unlocks its potential in financial technology industry, with Chinese companies claiming four of the top five spots of the annual list of the World’s 100 leading Fintech Innovations for 2016.
The list was released on Monday.
China's Ant Financial, which owns and operates the country's largest online payment platform Alipay, topped the list. Student microloan site Qudian came in second this year, internet based lending and wealth management platform Lufax took fourth.
China's online insurance business ZhongAn and risk management company JD Finance also swept into the top 10 list.
The Fintech Innovator list is compiled by UK-based advisory firm KPMG and Australian investment company H2 Ventures.
