BEIJING, Sept. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- A 25-year-old Chinese nurse has been dubbed the most beautiful bride by netizens after she was photographed trying to save a man's life while in her wedding dress.
Guo Yuanyuan, a nurse from Dalian Central Hospital, stopped her wedding photo shoot to help a man aged around 60 who was suffering from a heart attack after swimming in the ocean being carried back to the beach in Dalian, in northeast China's Liaoning Province.
She was reportedly rushing to the scene and tried resuscitate the man, who was not breathing. Witnesses saw Guo performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compression for more than 20 minutes.
Unfortunately, Guo's heroic efforts were in vain as the man did not regain consciousness and eventually died.
Guo's bravery earned her much appreciation and admiration from public and photos of her trying to save the man in her wedding dress have gone viral.
