BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhuanet) -- A batch of equipment imported by the Ningxia Ruyi Science and Technology Modern Industry Co., Ltd. arrived lately at the Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
The equipment was carried by a special train from Rotterdam and passed through the Qingdao Bonded Port on the east coast of the country.
This is the first batch of goods arriving at the zone after the regional customs clearance integration of the Silk Road Economic Belt was officially launched on May 1.
The reform in the regional customs clearance integration is an important step in building a customs supervision mechanism in service of the national "Belt and Road" strategy.
It will drive to a higher opening-up level the whole Silk Road Economic Belt region and provide smoother and more convenient customs clearance.
Yinchuan Customs worked together with nine other customs to build an operations framework on the integration of customs clearance and establishing a new mechanism of regional regulatory clearance.
Under the mode of customs clearance integration, enterprises can use multi-mode regulatory approach according to their logistics demands to choose transportation means of air, railway or land. For freights transshipping and consolidation service, executing multi-mode transport means no need to transit declarations, and goods will pass the customs remaining in the original state.
Companies can declare their goods at the Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Zone and have the inspection done at the Yinchuan Customs. Meanwhile, the freights can be directly unloaded at the bonded zone to save time and cost in transportation and customs clearance.
