BEIJING, July 14 (Xinhuanet) -- Ningxia will build an aviation hub towards the Arab States, said deputy chief of China's Civil Aviation Administration Wang Zhiqing lately.
Talking to vice president of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Wang Heshan, Wang Zhiqing said based on the "Belt And Road" Initiative, Ningxia should give full play to its advantages, improve connections with surrounding airports and open more international routes.
He added that China’s Civil Aviation Administration will support Ningxia civil aviation development in terms of opening new air routes and acquiring new technology.
On his part, Wang Heshan said, Ningxia has an aviation network with Yinchuan Hedong International Airport as the center and Zhongwei and Guyuan branch airports as the wings.
The network has greatly promoted local economic developments, Wang added.
