BEIJING, July 13 (Xinhuanet) -- The first batch of 18 sets of spinning machine valued at 4.5 mln euros from Rotterdam via Qingdao reached Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Zone lately.
This is the first batch of goods after the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China becomes a member of the customs clearance integration of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
It regularly takes five to seven days for enterprises to complete customs examination, though they could apply for customs transit to cut down on inspection cycle but at a higher cost.
After the customs clearance integration put in place , enterprises are free to choose combined transportation mode of air, railway and road to send in their goods as customs declaration can be made in the zone and unloaded directly upon arrival.
This practice helps save 800 yuan in transportation cost per vehicle per day and reduce by at least 24 hours in customs clearance.
