BEIJING, March 17 (Xinhuanet) -- The Chinese dream, as core of the “Four Comprehensives”, expresses the dream of all developing countries in the world, said Egyptian Ambassador to China Magdy Amer in an interview with Xinhuanet.

To realize the Chinese dream, China has set a great example for other developing countries in many fields, including promoting economic growth and the livelihoods of common people, combating corruption as well as strengthening oversea investment, said the Ambassador on Thursday.

"Comprehensively build a moderately prosperous society, comprehensively deepen reform, comprehensively implement the rule of law, and comprehensively strengthen Party discipline" -- these "Four Comprehensives" are tasks raised at Communist Party of China (CPC) meetings over the last two years, since President Xi Jinping took office.

China’s advantages lie in its persistence in putting the dreams into practice with notable performance over last thirty years’ reforming and opening up, added Magdy Amer, such is what other developing countries should learn from.

While talking of China-Egypt ties, Magdy Amer hoped that the bilateral cooperation could be boosted in more fields with greater momentum, noting the "Belt and Road" initiative made by China is in line with Egypt’s economic plan in the future.

Proposed by President Xi Jinping in 2013, the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road initiatives, or "Belt and Road" initiatives, aim to improve cooperation with countries in a vast part of Asia, Europe and Africa.

Last December, during his four-day state visit to China, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi signed a joint statement with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, to boost political, economic, military, cultural and technological cooperation along with that on regional and international affairs.

When asked about China’s economy, the Ambassador believed it is natural for China to shift steadily toward a new normal with better structure, after years of high-speed economic growth.

Despite the slowing down growth, China’s oversea investment and cooperation will continue to benefit the rest of the world considering its size, he commented.
