BEIJING, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday delivered a keynote speech at a new year celebration tea party of the country's top political advisory body.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the party hosted by the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, along with Premier Li Keqiang, top legislator Zhang Dejiang, top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng as well as Liu Yunshan, Wang Qishan and Zhang Gaoli.
