Highlights of communique of 4th plenary session of CPC Central Committee

BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Yang Jinshan, deputy commander of the Chengdu Military Area Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), was expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) for serious disciplinary violations, it was announced after a key CPC meeting on Thursday.

Yang was also one of the 205 members of the 18th CPC Central Committee.
