BEIJING, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,198.95 points, up 0.14 percent.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,758.36, up 14.83 points, or 0.19 percent.
